With Thoughts and Stories from His Journal

Sam Butcher was born to be an artist and from his early childhood, he amazed his family and friends with his unique talent. When he entered kindergarten, his teacher, Ms. Robinson was so impressed with his work that she would send him to the upper grade classes, to have him draw for them.

As his schooling continued, he would always lead in almost every art project that they had. It was during this time that he began to win many awards for his artwork which included a scholarship to one of the finest art schools in the country.

After his marriage, he worked very hard to support his family and most of his jobs were centered around illustration and design. In 1975, he began another career as illustrator of a greeting card line called Precious Moments. In Time, his work was discovered by a a giftware company and transformed into fine porcelain bisque. Later, even Hallmark greeting cards licensed his work for their products and still continues to do so. The Figurines that he created for Enesco Corporation became an immediate success and also became known as a giftware phenomena of the century.

With all his achievements, Mr. Butcher still longs to have a show featuring his contemporary art. You will be amazed by his many different styles of art, his writing, and his poetry in this book: Sam Butcher, An Artist for Everyone.
