Was originally in an old frame that had been damaged by water. Luckily the print had only suffered very minor staining.
1854 news print – hand colored engraving about Duck Hunting. with an article or news story on the back. and it came with the original seperate article pasted on the back that was under some matting board that relates to it…
The beginning says:

CANVASS-BACK DUCK.
The Engraving below represents a shooting scene appropriate to the present month, more especially in the Southern States… ect, ect…..
and it goes on about how to effectively hunt them.
